Morgan: What is that Momma, corn?
Momma: Yes, it is corn that is starting to grow. It will grow very tall.
Morgan: Why will it grow tall?
Momma: Because after it grows tall then corn will grow on the stalk.
Morgan: Oh, what is a stalk?
Momma: The stalk is the tall center that the leaves and corn grow on.
Morgan: Why does corn grow on the stalk?
Momma: So we can easily pick it.
Morgan: Oh.

Morgan stated today:
My bedroom is on the top, we are in the middle and the basement is the bottom!

Dip

Tonight I told Morgan the next door neighbors were going to go for a quick dip in their new kiddie pool. She looked at me very strangely and said, "Momma, what is a dip?" I explained it was a quick play in the pool. She said "Oh, I take a quick dip in the bath tonight."

Smartie Pants!

Morgan: "Pop Pop do you have a Mickey Mouse book down here?"
Pop Pop: "I don't know"
Morgan: "Let me go check"
Pop Pop: "Ok"
Morgan: with a brief look into the book box, "Yup, I guess you do!"
Pop Pop: just smiles!
